A Conservatives view on where we've been, where we are, and where we're going.
no matter what the settings are

I am using the latest ObjactDock Plus on Windows Vista Home Premium 32.

I have it set to show the dock as a drawer at the top of the screen with mouseover activation.  Everytime I restart my PC the dock stays on top of everything else but the settings have not changed in OD properties.  The only way I have found to correct this is to select the "Tabs always on top" button and then deselect it.  However, this must be done with every restart.  I have uninstalled OD Plus and reinstalled but the problem still exists.  Is there a setting I have overlooked or is this a known issue?

Thanks in advance for any insight.

I am having the same problem. I am running Object Dock Plus on Windows 7 64.

I have a similar issue. (OD+ on Win7 64 Ultimate) My docks simply wont autohide at any time unless i enter dock properties and make a change. Then the dock autohides, but then when i use it again, it stays on top till i mess with the settings again. I can have "always on top unselected and it makes do difference.

No combination of the dock properties get it to autohide..not even autohide.

SD, is this a known bug for Win 7? If so is there a update in the works, as this is very annoying.

Edit - Oh my...the Op was some time ago. oh well.

That has been a bug for years...

Open ObjectDock

Go into troubleshooting options.

Under system tray and taskbar check both items

See how you go

This also fixes a problem I had opening My Computer etc on the desktop. I had to double clck the shortcut twice to open.

Cheers
